Going through my videos I came upon this one so I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Kathleen

A picture of my Aunt Kathleen Crouse Helwig she is the adopted daughter of  Edward & Mary Crouse. Grandma Crouse was very upset that after having five boys that she did not have the daughter she wanted so they adopted Kathleen. The story is told that when they went to the home where Kathleen was being  held she was very malnourished she had RICKETTS. Unfortunately Grandma Crouse died at 69 leaving Kathleen without a mother.

The Parent's on Grandpa's 80th Birthday

These are the Parent's of the cousins in yesterday's picture. From the Left are Aunt Emily/Uncle Teeny, Aunt Ann/ Uncle Jerome Aunt Mary/Uncle Joe Regina/Vincent Aunt Kathleen/Uncle Bob
with Grandpa in the middle. What I remember of that day was my brother Jeff wearing a RED suit jacket and a big orange ring around his mouth from the Orange Soda that flowed freely that day. Next was some game of spin the bottle in the closet but I left before any thing happened and kids running around in the church auditorium.

Our cousin returns

Our cousin Theresa Helwig Sullivan recently contacted Mary Ann through Facebook. So I put up this picture of our Grand-father 80th birthday. Grandpa lived to be 93 and the family he started  has grown beyond his wildest dreams.

Summer Picnics the Kids '88

This video took place over several summers, I can see that the kids changed and so did my hair. It is wonderful to see the past. I have no recollection of these summer picnics. We are so lucky to live in an age that film is so available so that your memories can be preserved. As I age my memories fade so to have the technology at our finger tips is very gratifying for me.

Happy Easter, Spring and Day

I want to wish everyone a HAPPY everything to everyone. I am starting this Blog so I can share the pictures, video, and 8mm that I have been storing for over 46 years. Recently James my brother posted some old pictures that I have never seen before and I truly enjoyed seeing them. SOoooo I decided to start off with some little thing that I shot just the other day getting ready for Easter week-end. I know that not everyone celebrates Easter so please think of it as a new start of Spring, your day or even your life as you know it. Just enjoy the day and I hope this brings a smile to your face.
