A picture of my Aunt Kathleen Crouse Helwig she is the adopted daughter of Edward & Mary Crouse. Grandma Crouse was very upset that after having five boys that she did not have the daughter she wanted so they adopted Kathleen. The story is told that when they went to the home where Kathleen was being held she was very malnourished she had RICKETTS. Unfortunately Grandma Crouse died at 69 leaving Kathleen without a mother.
Hello, I cannot tell from your blog if we have met before or not, but my name is Corinne Kathleen. The family is so huge sometimes you miss some faces and unfortunately I haven't had much chance to meet many of the Crouse family members. I was looking for pictures of Grandma (Kathleen) Helwig when I stumbled upon your blog. :)

DeleteThere is no known information of her parents. Birth name was Catherine Mary Rogan. Are you related to her? I am her granddaughter through her youngest daughter Kara.
DeleteAlso her father's name was Edwin not Edward.
